Megabass Bottle Shrimp 3"

Although originally designed for freshwater use, the Megabass Bottle Shrimp has gained a cult following for bass stalking in and around harbours and estuaries, both along the south coast of England and into Brittany, France.

The bottle shrimp is a soft lure that imitates freshwater shrimp or crayfish. The bottle shrimp is very dense and can be used without additional weight. It can be rigged in the conventional way (eye on the tail). A reverse rig (eye on the head) can also be effective, provided the tail is weighted with a lead or tungsten insert. The inertia of the weighted arms creates a shuddering action when in contact with the bottom.
