Darren has a serious addiction to these lures! And with good reason, too! The average stamp of fish that these lures catch is just incredible. Quite simply, it's just not a small fish lure! Surprisingly easy to use with just a slow, straight retrieve, allowing the lure to scuttle along the bottom, being quite often all you need! Also absolutely deadly for tide work, allowing the fish to drift down tide parallel to the shore. 

The Dark Sleeper perfectly mimics not only the shape but also the swimming motion of bottom-dwelling fish such as gobies, bullheads, or gudgeons. Pre-weighted at the head, the Dark Sleeper is also equipped with a sharp, strong hook hidden between the two parts of the lure’s dorsal fin. This plastic protrusion conceals the hook from predators while also acting as a weed guard, significantly reducing the risk of snags. We recommend using a straight retrieve with occasional pauses close to the bottom.

As with all soft plastics worked "low & slow" we highly recommend adding a smelly jelly! Pro Cure, Gulp! or Halco are all excellent choices.
